Beauly is coming October 9th!

Corinne’s newest design, the Beauly Sweater, is getting closer and closer to release day, and we are SO excited to finally get this beautiful lace yoke sweater onto your needles!

Beauly will be available in two Woolly Thistle favorite yarns, Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt and Rauma Strikkegarn, giving you lots of gorgeous colors to choose from.

Shetland Wool Week is just around the corner!

One of our favorite traditions is seeing the Shetland Wool Week hat revealed each year and, if you’re like our very own Cait, adding another one to the collection!

You can find this year’s Birsie Beanny, along with kits for favorites from years past like the Crofthoose Hat, in our shop. They’re such fun little projects for playing with color, celebrating Shetland wool, and keeping a bit of Wool Week with you wherever you are. Created for the mill’s annual Open Weekend, this year’s collection heads inland to the moors, drawing inspiration from old folklore, misty ground, and the creatures said to inhabit it.

Seafarer Sport is a smooth, worsted-spun 4 ply yarn with the clarity to make textured patterns sing. Its construction gives definition to cables and colorwork while producing fabric with substance and polish. Beauly is coming October 9th!

We are so excited to release Corinne’s newest sweater pattern, Beauly, and while our wonderful test knitters are busy putting the pattern through its paces, they’ve also helped us with a very special little project.

One of the first questions we hear whenever we share a new design is, “But what would it look like in another color?” So we asked each of our Beauly test knitters to knit a lace swatch in the color they chose for their sweater.

Now we have this beautiful collection showing you how the Beauly lace looks across all of our kit colors, making it a little easier to imagine your own!

But we think the best part is that every swatch was knit by a member of our Thistler community. It’s not just a color sample. It’s a little bit of love from our community waving hello and helping bring Corinne’s newest design to life.

She’s knitting her own Vanilla Sweater in wonderfully woolly Hillesvåg Ask, but this Vanilla is getting quite the makeover.

A V-neck, tunic length, AND a steeked split hem?! WHAT?! 🤯

We love seeing just how customizable the Vanilla Sweater can be, and Corinne is definitely taking her Sweater KAL project on a little adventure.
