JMan’s Alaska Adventure Begins!: Finally made it to Anchorage, with some hiccups, they lost my main big bag with waders and clothes. Got that back. Now we’re at the airport getting ready to fly to king salmon. First 1/2 day on the water. I hooked one, jeff landed one, and geo lost one.

Clearly, it’s going to be a very exciting 2 weeks! Stay tuned!

Lots of us are headed over to Maupin this weekend for the Trout Fest! The Royal Treatment Fly Fishing Tent will be set up along with Griz promoting our upcoming Adventure Day and Kids Day in the shop!

1pm shares 45min of fly fishing basics and of course, we will have the famous Bug Boat freshly loaded with cool creepy creatures freshly volunteered for our educational activities that’s always a hit with kids of all ages~ and yes, all the aquatic life will have an aerator for the day and be safely transported back to the Deschutes River later that day.

Helper shout out to who will be on scene with the Royal Treatment Crew and we are all excited to share the day with you soon! 🌠💯drive safely and we hope you come away inspired to love the Deschutes River more than ever; & be sure to save the date to attend the DRA’s June 9th Event.
