What started as creating a custom flower wall for my own wedding quickly became a passion I couldn't keep to myself. After many rental requests, La Dolce Blooms was born. Now, I'm here to create that same unforgettable elegance for your events. Serving Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon, let's make your celebration one to remember.

I’ll always remember when my assistant texted and called me, SOS 🚨, someone filled out the form.

I was driving the backroads with my husband, and he joked, ā€œhas there been a mistake?ā€ We all laughed.

Because we’d recently gone live with our website, and in our heads, we thought inquiries would come pouring in.

Spoiler alert: they didn’t.

We kept grinding as a team, and eventually landed our first booking.

What I know now that I didn’t know then is that getting booked out most weekends through the summer was never going to come from a website going live. It’s a combination of behind the scenes, things running in the background, that most people don’t think about.

Here’s why this matters to you:

→ You don’t need a big launch moment to get booked every weekend, you need a strong system running in the background

→ Most event rental owners who struggle with bookings are missing at least one of these 6 systems

→ Fixing even one can be the difference between a quiet month and a full calendar

I built this exact system into the Event Rental Academy, legal, pricing, marketing, booking systems, + more so you’re never sitting there wondering why the inquiries aren’t pouring in either.

I’m going to be your biggest cheerleader.

1. I quit my stable career. I decided to take a risk. My husband has a W2 job and we decided to be riskier with mine.

2. I moved. I literally moved states…and started a brand new event rental business from scratch in a town where I knew nobody.

3. I hired an assistant before I ever made a dollar. I knew my weaknesses right away and immediately hired a 1099.

4. I rented my flower walls before I even had them made

5. I made it my job to network. 6:45am networking meeting? I was there.

6. For a while it was - team no sleep and just grind. Said goodbye to my social life (temporarily)

7. I didn’t try to get everyone to rent my product just to get a sale. I stuck with selling to my ideal client and if that resulted in a missed sale I was okay with it.

8. I set goals that were not astronomical…literally my first goal was 2 sales.

9. I let the quiet times fuel me and not silence me.

10. I put thousands of miles on my car driving to any opportunity I could get to meet someone in the industry and show off my product.

I didn’t have an actual strategy when I started…and I definitely didn’t have anyone telling me what steps to follow and what to avoid. I just had to figure it out!

This is exactly why I’m sharing with you everything I implemented and my secrets on how I got so booked and busy.

How to start your event rental business and bring in extra money made simple.

Two years ago I was an educator commuting 3 hours a day to/from work.

I built my first flower wall on my living room floor.

No business background, no idea what I was doing (literally).

I didn’t have systems. I didn’t have a marketing plan. I definitely didn’t have my transportation figured out (still learning what fits in a car the hard way šŸ˜…).

A year later, La Dolce Blooms was named PNW Best New Wedding Pro. Not because I had it all figured out. Because I kept going when it was quiet, kept showing up when no one was booking, and refused to quit when it got hard.

Here’s exactly what changed everything for me:

1. Getting crystal clear on who I was actually renting to, instead of trying to be everything to everyone

2. Building my systems (contracts, payments, policies) before I ever needed them, not after a client asked

3. Treating marketing like a real plan, not something I did ā€œhere and thereā€

4. Learning that quiet months don’t mean it’s not working, they mean keep going

If I could sit down with the version of me still googling ā€œhow to start an event rental businessā€ at 11pm, this is exactly what I’d hand herā€¦šŸ‘‡

I know this because my husband and I had this same convo over and over.

If you start to broad - you can’t get really good at one thing.

That ā€œone thingā€ becomes YOUR thing.

What you’re known for, and what you are really good at.

I started with ONE flower wall.

But the constant convo in the beginning went something like…

ā€œWell, we can also rent chairsā€

Oh!

ā€œAnd we can also rent tables since we are going to setup anywayā€

Oh! What about…

The list went on and on.

But what I kept going back to was, no… I think we just need to be known for ONE rental… crush it, and then add on.

And when we add on, it needs to make sense.

Eventually we grew our flower wall inventory.

Then we added on a Photo Booth.

Then we added on a flower arch.

I want you to dial it in and pick ONE ā€œheroā€ rental product.

If YOU aren’t sure where to start either…

Just comment ā€œACADEMYā€ and I’ll teach you everything you need to know!
