Today would have been my beautiful mom Violet’s 91st birthday. 🩷
This is the first birthday without her, and I’m not quite sure there are words for how much I miss her.
Violet wasn’t just my mom,she is the heart behind Violet 1935. Naming my business after her was my way of carrying a little piece of her with me, and now that name means more to me than I ever could have imagined.
I was so incredibly blessed to have her for as long as I did. To love her, learn from her, laugh with her, and have the privilege of caring for her.
So today, I celebrate her.
