It’s week 2 of our Character Counts fundraiser! Here’s what your support makes possible. 🚲

A complete bicycle package includes:
✔️ New bicycle
✔️ Safety inspection
✔️ Helmet
✔️ Lock
✔️ Proper bike fitting
✔️ Bicycle safety education

We’re raising $20,000 by September 15 to help cover the cost of 100 new bicycle packages that will be distributed to students recognized through our Character Counts program this fall and winter.

A bike can change someone’s day in ways that most of us don’t even think about.

A bike can mean getting to work, making it to an appointment, or simply having a little more freedom and independence to move around in our community.

We recently connected with our friends at St. Ann’s, and it was a good reminder that looking out for each other doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s a bike. Sometimes it’s your time. Sometimes it’s simply showing up.

Thanks to everyone who donates bicycles, our volunteers, or cheers us on. You’re helping neighbors help neighbors. 🚲❤️

We have a small problem... 🚲

This year, we don’t have enough donated children’s bicycles to recognize every deserving
student nominated through our Character Counts program.

So we’ve set a goal to raise $20,000 by September 15 to help cover the cost of 100 new bicycle
packages—and we could use your help.

they’ve earned.

Every bicycle that comes through our doors has the potential to become someone’s transportation to work, school, healthcare, or simply a source of joy.

Before it’s donated, each bike is cleaned, repaired, safety inspected, and properly fitted so every rider can leave with confidence.

If people can’t get to the program, we believe the program should get to the people.

This week we traveled to Belle Glade to help children and families learn to ride, build confidence, and experience the joy and freedom a bicycle can provide.
We know transportation—and opportunity—shouldn’t depend on where you live. When communities can’t easily come to us, we bring Wheels of Hope to them.

We’re grateful to have partnered with the West Palm Beach Rotary Club on this meaningful initiative recognizing students who lead with kindness, respect, and character.

At Jack the Bike Man, we believe bicycles can open doors to confidence, independence, and opportunity, especially for young people. Thank you to Rotary Club of West Palm Beach, Okeechobee Steakhouse, and everyone involved for investing in these students and celebrating the next generation of leaders.

Transportation can be life-changing for someone trying to get to work, support their family, or simply navigate daily life.

We’re grateful to partner with organizations like Esperanza Community Center that are doing important work supporting day laborers and immigrant families in our community through outreach, education, worker protection, and access to critical resources.

Through our Wheels of Hope initiatives, we’re proud to help provide bicycles to workers and families who rely on them for transportation and independence.

Thank you to Esperanza Community Center, Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. and all the staff and volunteers making a difference every day. We are honored to support this work.
