Recently, our team was called to La Goulue Palm Beach to replace damaged hardwood flooring—all while ensuring the restaurant was ready to welcome guests the very next day.

Installer Patrick carefully removed the damaged boards, prepared the repair area, and precision-cut each replacement piece to ensure the repair began with a solid foundation. Quality hardwood repairs aren't rushed—they require patience, experience, and attention to every detail.

Commercial flooring projects often demand overnight scheduling, allowing businesses to continue operating without interruption. It's challenging work, but it's part of delivering the level of service our clients expect.

Jatoba is one of the hardest and most durable hardwood species available, prized for its rich grain patterns, exceptional strength, and timeless appearance. The custom hardwood borders create a seamless transition between the wood flooring and limestone, enhancing the architectural design while preserving the natural beauty of both materials.

In these photos, you can also see one of our technicians sanding the hardwood flooring as part of the restoration process. Projects of this caliber require careful planning, precision craftsmanship, and attention to every detail.

A beautiful hardwood floor doesn't start with the finish—it starts with meticulous preparation.

This week we're on Palm Beach Island preparing the main foyer of this stunning home for a professional hardwood floor maintenance coat.

Originally finished over 10 years ago, this 2¼-inch Red Oak hardwood floor features a timeless custom white wash finish. Because the existing finish has been well maintained, the floor is an excellent candidate for a maintenance recoat rather than a complete sand and refinish.

Today's work is focused entirely on preparation.

Our process includes:
✔ Thorough deep cleaning to remove dirt, oils, and contaminants
✔ Professional machine scrubbing
✔ Mechanical abrasion to create the ideal surface for adhesion
✔ Detailed inspection before any new finish is applied

Proper preparation is the foundation of every successful maintenance coat. Taking the time to do it correctly helps ensure maximum adhesion, long-term durability, and a finish that performs as beautifully as it looks.

Project Spotlight | Flamingo Park, West Palm Beach

Completed in 2024, this beautiful home in the historic Flamingo Park neighborhood of West Palm Beach recently changed ownership, making it a great opportunity to revisit one of our favorite hardwood flooring projects.

Fiero Wood Artistry was responsible for the entire flooring scope, including demolition and removal of the existing flooring, material procurement, installation, sanding, and finishing.

The project features 5" Select White Oak solid hardwood flooring, professionally installed and site-finished to create a timeless look that complements the character of the home while providing decades of durability.

The flooring was finished with DuraClear Max Satin Water-Based Polyurethane, providing exceptional wear resistance, low VOC performance, and a natural satin sheen that highlights the beauty of real hardwood.
