We are very happy to welcome Micah to the community! 😁🎵🎶 Micah will be teaching over at the Missouri State University - West Plains Campus just a few blocks down from our shop.
In addition to teaching at the university, Micah is offering private music lessons at our store as well! Percussion, brasswinds, woodwinds, and vocal lessons are now available at our shop, in addition to lessons on guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and piano. We are collecting referrals for all our instructors today! ☺️ If you or a student of yours would like to get in contact with any one of our instructors for private music lessons, please give us a call and we will have them reach out to answer any questions on availability/scheduling and rates.

We are excited to welcome Micah Boise as the newest adjunct faculty member in the Missouri State University–West Plains Music Department!

Micah brings a wealth of experience in music education, performance, and private instruction. Having served as both a high school band and choir director, he has dedicated his career to inspiring students and helping them develop their musical abilities and lifelong appreciation for the arts. His extensive background in individual and group private instruction makes him a wonderful addition to our faculty.

⭐Micah's duties at MSU-WP includes:
🔹Teaching Piano, Music Theory, and Elective Courses
🔹Provide Applied Lessons
🔹Director of the University/Community Orchestra
🔹Asst. Director of the University/Community Band

🎹 Private Lesson Opportunities
In addition to his work with our students and community ensembles, Micah will also offer both individual and group private lessons on percussion, piano, strings, and a variety of other instruments, creating even more opportunities for musicians throughout our region to learn, grow, and excel.

We are thrilled to have his knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for music education as part of our department, and we look forward to the impact he will make on our students, ensembles, and community.

Just a reminder that we are still selling raffle tickets for a Martin guitar that will benefit The Yellow House!

Be sure to stop by and purchase your tickets! We can only accept cash for these in-store. If you utilize the QR code, you can electronically purchase tickets.☺️

Raffle time, look at this a chance to win a Martin Djr-10 acoustic guitar. This is a great addition to a seasoned musician or friendly enough for a beginner. This fantastic guitar comes along with a hard soft case and a startup package with a 15 dollar gift card from our friends at West Plains Music. Where you can check it out and also purchase tickets. Located on the square in historic West Plains Downtown. Tickets will be available there and at The Yellow House events. Also look for us at downtown events as well. The tickets are limited to 300 total and raffle endsin August. 10 dollars each or 5 for 40 dollars to win a a modern classic. Message the Yellow House or stop by WP Music to find out more on this fundraiser benefiting our Community Arts Center.

This Friday at the Yellow House! WitchCora has her first performance with her ethereal and other-worldly flute music and vocals!🪈

Excited to announce that I will be performing at The Yellow House July 31st @ 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10

All proceeds will be going towards donations to The Yellow House as this magical space is needing some repairs! It's time we give back to a community that has offered us a place to create and share art as well as music!
