Downtown Vendors & Arts is looking for a dependable, energetic team member who can help customers, support our vendors, make a great sandwich and survive a little organized chaos with a smile!
This position is split between:
🛍️ Vendor Associate
🥪 Deli Sandwich Line Worker
The Job Includes:
• Greeting and helping customers
• Running the register and assisting vendors
• Preparing sandwiches and deli orders
• Stocking, organizing and keeping things looking nice
• Washing dishes, wiping counters, sweeping, mopping and cleaning up messes—even the ones you did not make
• Jumping in wherever help is needed
Yes, cleaning is part of the job. The broom is not haunted, the mop does not bite and the trash will not take itself out!
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
• Is friendly, dependable and ready to work
• Can work days, evenings and weekends
• Can handle customers, sandwiches and occasional pickle-related emergencies
• Understands that “work time” means working
• Is not married to their cell phone—your phone will survive without you while you are helping customers
• Can successfully pass a criminal background check
• Can successfully pass pre-employment and random drug testing
Store Hours:
Monday–Saturday: 9 AM–7 PM
Sunday: 12 PM–5 PM
A good attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to clean are required. Sandwich-making skills can be taught—but showing up, staying off your phone and being dependable have to come with you!
