IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY!

August 1 marked one year since St. Joseph’s Treasures Thrift Shoppe opened its doors, and what a year it has been!

Because of the incredible generosity of our donors, the hard work of our amazing volunteers, and the support of West Point and the surrounding communities, we are celebrating this milestone with something truly special:

We are extremely proud to donate $15,000 to St. Joseph’s Elder Services!

Every item donated, every purchase made, every volunteer hour given, and every person who has walked through our doors has helped make this possible. Our donors, customers, and volunteers come from West Point and communities throughout the surrounding area, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

The donation will be used for two projects at St. Joseph’s Retirement Community: the installation of a handicap-accessible door at the second-floor garden entrance, making the beautiful outdoor space more accessible to residents, and a much-needed update to the furniture in the community’s beauty shop.

What started as a little thrift shop with a big mission has become a wonderful way for our communities to come together and make a difference.

Thank you for helping us turn Treasures into something that truly matters.

Just a quick correction to our previous post: The $5 Bag Sale includes WOMEN’S clothing, only. All shoes, men’s and children’s clothing as well as jackets and coats are excluded.
