Bigfoot Bricks & Books

09/18/2026

We have been spending the last couple of weeks diving deep into our personal collections and tearing down some massive sets to get everything organized! 🧱☕

This session was a big one. I (The Brick Enabler) ended up unbuilding one of the absolute highest-piece-count sets in my collection that I have never actually built from scratch myself. It was originally purchased used and already put together. To do it justice, I decided to take it completely down to bare plastic so I can experience the true joy of building it myself from the ground up another time! 💕

If you look closely at the photos, you can also catch a glimpse of the Brick Fanatic hard at work meticulously tearing down a massive set right next to the hull of my own boat build! 🚢🔧

Sometimes you have to break things down to get organized, and we are loving seeing these personal bricks ready for the next round of grand creations! 🙌

I don't possess unique words to express the loss of Dolly Parton, but I know she left behind a legacy that will last for generations.

🚨 TABLE WARS: THE BAKERY EXTORTION 🚨

Location: Sector 4 (The Pastry Zone)
Status: Highly weaponized carbohydrates.🥖
Project Update: Operation Inflation

The Bakery is Rising: The Brick Enabler has officially broken ground on the LEGO Bakery! Ground floor walls are up, the display cases are looking pristine, and the register is open for business.

The Brick Separator Shield: The teal brick separator has been deployed directly to the front line. It is serving double duty as a construction tool and a tactical defense weapon to poke the Brick Fanatic if his loose minifig limbs slide too close to the bakery floor.💸

Since the Brick Fanatic has completely overtaken the dining table with his endless armies, the Brick Enabler is officially enacting severe economic penalties:

The Clone Trooper Tax: If a single clone trooper helmet rolls into the pastry zone, it will be confiscated and held for a ransom of $400 LEGO dollars.

No Free Samples: Rent for your minifigure staging ground is due immediately. Payment will only be accepted in the form of pristine, rare pieces or coffee. ☕️

Hulk Surcharges: The green guy is clearly a liability around glass display cases. If Hulk smashes, the Fanatic pays triple.

📡 Public announcement broadcasted across the table:"The bakery does NOT have a drive-thru for microfighters, and we do not accept galactic credits. Keep your sorting operation on your side of the wood grain, or the teal separator gets used as a catapult."

✈️ THE BRICK ENABLER STRIKES AGAIN! ✈️

Fresh off the building table last night: the gorgeous LEGO 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute from 2021! 💗

A massive thank you to The Brick Shoppe in Kennewick, WA for another fantastic find! This limited-edition beauty was originally released to celebrate Women's History Month, and finding one new in box locally is a total win! 🙌

Fun Brick Facts about this build:🔴 That striking red plane is a replica of the Lockheed Vega 5B—and LEGO actually used real blueprints of the aircraft to design it!🗺️

The exclusive Amelia Earhart minifigure comes with a tiny printed tile mapping out her historic 1932 solo transatlantic flight path.📐 It includes a sleek display stand and plaque, making it the perfect shelf centerpiece.

If you haven’t dropped by The Brick Shoppe lately, you’re missing out on some serious hidden gems! 💕
