🐔 I’d like to think I speak fluent chicken at this point… 😂

Spend enough time with a flock and you start giving every little look, noise and questionable decision its own translation. 🤣

Today’s conversation went something like:

🐓peeks around the corner
“Peek-a-boo!”
disappears
🐓peeks back out
“I SEEEE YOUUU!” 😂😂

Of course, this is the same flock where I’m pretty sure I regularly hear:

🐔 “MOM! She’s in my nesting box!”
🐔 “Did you bring snacks or are you just here to stare at us?”
🐔 “Pick me up. Actually, put me down. WAIT…where are you going?!”
🐔 “I haven’t eaten in approximately 7 minutes and I may not make it.”
🐓 “That’s MY woman.”
🐔 “MOVE, Bobby.” 🤣

Do they actually say any of this? No.

Do I respond to them as if they do? Absolutely. 😂

Every single one of these birds has developed such a different little personality that it’s impossible not to speak for them. At this point, I don’t own chickens… I manage a tiny feathered reality show. 🤦‍♀️🐔😂

Our ladies at Rustic Tine Farm have been BUSY! We currently have 9 dozen fresh eggs available, and we’re now collecting about a dozen eggs every day! 🥚❤️

✨ $4 per dozen ✨

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post and telling your friends, family, and neighbors! We know not everyone has social media, so good old-fashioned word of mouth is always appreciated. 🥰

We’d also love to give back to our community when we can. ❤️ If you know of someone in need or a local food pantry in or around West Salisbury, PA that accepts fresh farm eggs, please reach out. We would be more than happy to donate some of our extras to help a neighbor in need.

We currently have a few dozen farm-fresh eggs available from the ladies here at Rustic Tine Farm! 🐓🤎

$4 per dozen

Because availability depends entirely on what the ladies decide to give us each day, eggs will be offered on a first-come, first-served waiting list.

Comment below or send us a message with how many dozen you’d like, and I’ll add your name to the list. I’ll contact you in order as eggs become available and are ready for pickup.

🐓 Officially introducing… STEVEN! 😂

Steven has been my suspected rooster from the very beginning, and after finally blessing us with his absolutely ridiculous rubber-chicken-sounding crow, it’s official. 🤣

That makes this handsome, cuddly boy Rooster #3 here at Rustic Tine Farm. 🙄🐓

The funny part? Steven apparently didn’t get the memo that roosters are supposed to be tough. He hops right into my lap, curls up in my arms, lets me rub all over his head and comb, and will happily fall asleep like the spoiled baby he is. 🥹❤️

Welcome to the boys’ club, Steven. I knew it all along. 😂

Meanwhile, my ladies (and gentlemen 🙄) have been putting themselves to bed since day one. Not a single bedtime battle. 💅🐔
