This past spring, in the midst of the mayhem of building a booth for the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, Patrick of Patrick Donohue shared his latest masterpiece named ‘My Ever Changing Moods’
Can I tell you, without a hint of embarrassment or any degree of embellishment, I teared up. The shawl was stunning, IS stunning.
As dyers, James and I view our yarn and fiber as swatches of color on a painter’s palette, what Patrick did with our yarn is pure artistry. The talent, the skill and the imagination required to conceive this shawl is inspiring.

Patrick is generously donating $3.50 from every sale of the pattern from now until August 21, 2026 to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
When Patrick inquired about which charity to associate with this release, the choice was simple. We cannot think of a family or friend who hasn’t been impacted by this disease. ITW has made a donation to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund in memory of Cris’ mother, Judy, as we just lost her this past month to complications associated with this devastating disease.
