For over twenty years, Cataract Oars has manufactured carbon fiber and fiberglass composite oars for whitewater rafting, driftboating and other paddlesports. All Cataract Oars oar shafts are manufactured in Salt Lake City, Utah, using a process known as filament winding. Filament winding creates composite structures of incredible strength and durability. Cataract Oars offers the SGG oar shaft, the

SGX oar shaft and the X-Wound oar shaft, as well as several blade options and many river rafting accessories.
