πΏ Lessons from Repotting African Violets πΏ
This week, I found myself repotting African violets instead of writing.
As I carefully removed each plant from its pot, I realized something.
Healthy plants eventually outgrow the place they've been living.
To continue growing, they have to be moved.
That process isn't gentle.
The roots are disturbed.
Dead leaves are trimmed away.
Fresh soil replaces what has been depleted.
For a little while, the plant doesn't look stronger.
It looks stressed.
Isn't that often how God works in us?
Sometimes He lovingly removes us from what has become comfortable. He allows seasons of change that stretch us, expose us, and even prune away things that no longer give life.
In those moments, it can feel like everything is falling apart.
But what if it's actually being prepared?
Growth often requires disruption.
If you're in a season where life feels unsettled, don't assume God has forgotten you. He may be doing His deepest work beneath the surface, strengthening roots that will sustain you for years to come.
π "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Trust the Gardener.
He knows exactly what He's growing.
