Grace Over All™
Worn by Faith. Led by Grace.
How do you trust God when you cannot see what He is doing?
Waiting on God can feel especially heavy when you do not understand what comes next.
Faith does not require pretending that uncertainty is easy.
Psalm 27:14 calls us to wait on the LORD, take courage, and look to Him for strength.
Read Psalm 27:14 in context.
What do you do when you are tired of waiting on God?
Sometimes the hardest part is simply not knowing how long the waiting season will last.
The Bible gives believers room to pray honestly about that weariness.
Psalm 13 shows us that honest questions, sorrow and trust can all be brought before God.
Read Psalm 13:1–2, then continue through the whole Psalm.
Is waiting on God the same as doing nothing?
Biblical waiting is not passive.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep obeying what God has already made clear.
Isaiah 40:31 points us toward renewed strength for those who wait on the LORD.
Waiting can still include faithful action.
Read Isaiah 40:31.
What should a Christian do while waiting on God?
Pray what you feel.
Read what is true.
Stay near to God while you wait.
Psalm 62 speaks of waiting on God, placing hope in Him, trusting Him, pouring out our hearts before Him, and knowing Him as our rock and refuge.
Waiting is not a reason to move away from God.
It is a reason to draw near.
Read Psalm 62:5–8.
Do you have to force the next chapter of your life open?
Psalm 27:14 gives a different instruction:
Wait on the LORD.
Be of good courage.
Let Him strengthen your heart.
There are moments when faithfulness looks less like forcing the next answer and more like continuing to trust God with what has not
