Employee Spotlight ✨ Charlotte has called the valley home for many years, and it is clear that her roots here run deep. Her husband was born and raised in the valley, and together they raised their family here, built a life here, and created a strong connection to the community. For Charlotte, this is more than just a place to live. It is home, and in many ways, it has always been her happy place.
Her love of baking began more than 45 years ago. As a child, she spent time in the kitchen with her grandmother, father, and mother, learning through family traditions and shared experiences. Over the years, baking became second nature. Even the challenges of high-altitude baking became something she learned to understand through patience, practice, and a little trial and error.
Charlotte has been part of the Lux team for a little over a year, and one of the things she loves most is connecting with people. After years of working in different roles throughout the valley, including restaurants, hotels, and the local school, she enjoys seeing familiar faces again and reconnecting with people she has known over the years.
What stands out most about Charlotte is her love for making people happy. She says chocolate has a special way of bringing smiles, and she loves being part of that experience.
Her favorite Lux treat is the soft caramel, and when asked to describe Lux in three words, her answer was simple and heartfelt: “My happy place.”
And one more thing to know about Charlotte—she is a cowgirl at heart. ❤️ 🍫🤠
