Our Thrift Store supports a Food Pantry & Community Resources Office. Donations accepted & appreciated. The Jonnycake Center of Westerly is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization established in 1975 that serves clients in the towns of Westerly, Hopkinton, Charlestown and Richmond, Rhode Island. We operate a food pantry, a social services office, and a retail thrift store which are staffed by employees and volunteers. Food, clothing, household goods and emergency financial assistance are offered to qualifying clients who require help with basic needs such as rent, mortgages, utilities, prescription medicine, and education assistance. Our Food Pantry serves individuals and families in need year-round. Special programs are offered to keep school-age children fed during the weekends and school holidays. Assistance for Thanksgiving/holiday-time dinners is also available. For eligibility and to learn more, call (401) 377-8069 and select Option 1. The Jonnycake Center of Westerly's Social Services department coordinates an annual Adopt-a-Family Program, providing gifts for children in need during the holiday season. Our 7,000 square-foot Thrift Store is open to the public and offers a wide selection of brand-new and gently-used clothes, accessories, furniture, household goods, electronics, kids' activities, multimedia, and much more. Discounts on select merchandise are offered daily. Proceeds from the Thrift Store help fund the Social Services department and Food Pantry.

Video Games, Televisions, Monitors, Gaming System Accessories, and Entertainment Stands and Cabinets are 50% off!

Come in on Saturday between 9am and 4pm (last entry at 3:30) and go on a ! You never know what you may find! Thanks to our generous community of donors, additional items are always been added to our shelves! Find just what you need, something you never knew you needed, a gift for a friend or a little something for yourself!

Each day our Food Pantry is able to provide nutritious groceries for over 500 meals to our neighbors who are experiencing food and housing insecurity. Your support does !

ICYMI: A huge thanks to the Chelsea Groton Bank Foundation for their incredibly generous $6,000 donation to the Jonnycake Center of Westerly!

This funding will enable the Center to provide emergency food assistance to local individuals in need. We are grateful for their continued support of vital community programs!

Hi Friends! We still need sun protection year round! 🌞

You can help our neighbors stay safe in the sun by donating sunscreen to the Jonnycake Center's Food Pantry.

Donations can be made behind our building Weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We also accept other types of personal care & hygiene products as well. We thank you in advance! 🌸

Come in on Friday and find something ! Pick out a headboard to refresh your guest room! Choose a quilt to add coziness to your bedroom! Pick up a set of sheets to change up your look or a pair of pjs just because!

Each day our donors bring us thousands of items to add to our shelves. Each donation, each purchase and each volunteer hour ! Thanks to donors, shoppers and volunteers, our Thrift Store is able to provide over half our Center's income, making a major contribution to our Center's success serving our community.

Hi all! We started giving our community here Center of Westerly an opportunity to show off their fabulous found Jonnycake Treasures in our new FB series called - ✨Show Off Saturday✨

We were very pleased that so many of you shared pics of your beautiful found Jonnycake Treasures & or thrifted items.
We even had two community members who create art & bird feeders out of thrifted items.

We loved seeing all of the beautiful treasure finds & created artwork placed in homes. We think you all have fabulous style! 👌
