Glassroom 26 was founded in 2011 by lifelong friends and Westfield natives, Caitlin Wood O'Dougherty and Caroline Hopkins Crum. Caitlin learned the art of glass etching in high school and quickly fell in love with the process. Since then her friends and family have been receiving glass gifts for every occasion from birthdays to weddings. After years of encouragement from her mother, she finally de
cided to “do something” with her craft. She enlisted the help of her best friend, drawing on Caroline's business experience and the skills she honed as an art major. Caitlin's technical abilities and Caroline's creativity turned out to be the perfect combination for this endeavor and it has been both a joy and a wonderful challenge to grow this business together.
