Glassroom 26 was founded in 2011 by lifelong friends and Westfield natives, Caitlin Wood O'Dougherty and Caroline Hopkins Crum. Caitlin learned the art of glass etching in high school and quickly fell in love with the process. Since then her friends and family have been receiving glass gifts for every occasion from birthdays to weddings. After years of encouragement from her mother, she finally decided to “do something” with her craft. She enlisted the help of her best friend, drawing on Caroline's business experience and the skills she honed as an art major. Caitlin's technical abilities and Caroline's creativity turned out to be the perfect combination for this endeavor and it has been both a joy and a wonderful challenge to grow this business together.

We’ve been pretty quiet lately… that’s mostly because I’ve been neck deep in wedding planning, but I’d also be lying if I didn’t admit that part of it is because I have been DEVOURING Matt Dinnaman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl Series. I’ve been trying to pace myself because waiting for book 9 is going to be torture so I took a break before starting book 8 to turn some of my favorite characters, quotes and moments into glasses.

We’ve added a new friend to our Wine-y Critters Collection, and this trash bandit is really just as cute as can be.

Real talk though, if any of yall can figure out how to get a drinking pun out of an otter, do let me know… I have sooo many cute otters that deserve a spot in the crew and I just haven’t been able to come up with anything clever.
