Vermont Nephrite jade self prospected fron the Arganaut talc mine in Ludlow Vermont.

"Nephrite jade is a dense, exceptionally tough amphibole mineral made of microscopic, intertwined tremolite or actinolite fibers.

Key Properties

Composition: Calcium magnesium iron silicate (tremolite-actinolite series)

Hardness: 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale (easy to scratch, but very hard to break)

Toughness: Extremely high due to its interlocking fibrous mesh, making it famously resistant to fracturing

Colors: Most commonly green (due to iron)."

Some kinda Opal kick

It’s hard to believe this was found inside a rock! This stunning specimen looks like a piece of the Northern Lights trapped in stone. The neon greens and fiery oranges glowing from within that earthy matrix are a perfect reminder that the most beautiful treasures are often hidden beneath a rough exterior.
Nature really outdid itself with this one. It’s like holding a tiny, glowing galaxy in the palm of your hand. 🌌
