Skyline Music has been serving the needs of beginning, recreational, and professional musicians in the Cleveland area since 1987. We occupy about 3000 square feet of space in the Dover Village Shopping Center in Westlake, OH. Into it we’ve squeezed eight lesson studios that house over 400 students each week, over 10,000 printed music titles, repair facilities, and of course,a lot of

Today we remember our former student Christina Ryook, who perished when the Towers fell on 9/11. As always, our hearts go out to her family and all who are part of the vast web of those connected in some way to the tragedy of 9/11.

We're already rearranging the salesfloor to position the Garage (Band) Sale items! Every time we look in the back or open a cabinet, it seems something else is unearthed... just found some Camber HiHat cymbals, a refurbed and playable alto sax (under $500!) violin parts...
Some of the stuff is out for preview now (not yet for sale), but a great chance to decide how early you want to get up Friday morning!

Heading into the holiday weekend, we're still finding/cleaning/refurbishing bargains for the Garage (Band) Sale!

Beside the deals shown in our previous post (check it out if you haven't already!) we'll be offering things like:

Snare kits (drum, stand and case)
A pocket trumpet
a cello/bass stand
collapsible bench seats (2)
some Hamilton orchestra music stands (suitable for home studio!)
Stand lights
a couple of small guitar amps
a startling (even to me!) number of instrument carcasses...clarinet lamp time!
And we're discovering more with each layer of our archaeological dig!
We'll have stuff "viewable" as the post-holiday week unfolds--but if you want to buy, be here as the doors open at 10am Friday, July10!

It's been a while, but the Garage (Band) Sale is returning July 10-11 (Friday/Saturday). We've accumulated a lot of instrument oddities, parts, carcasses, and items of no known use...it's time to clear out the catacombs! Bargains galore, and grist for your own projects, art installations, or instrument explorations.
We're still finding/cleaning/ and pricing things, but we know there will be accordions, drums, some wind instruments, guitar parts, wind and string accessories, some actual higher-end values (including a vintage bari sax!), and of course a ton of vintage sheet music (nuthin' over $4 in print!).
We are also trying to make sure there are truly affordable items for the project-oriented and younger shoppers--true garage sale fodder.

We had great time presenting the Instrument Petting Zoo at Westlake's Music a la Mode last Saturday! Skyline faculty and volunteers had a steady stream of instrument-curious kids of all ages--even some adults! We love getting a chance to do these events, and it's great that the parents get to see the fun.
