YMR Train Shoppe The YMR Train Shoppe is a project of the Denver Area Youth in Model Railroading, a non profit model railroad organization just for kids ages 8-18.

The profits from the sales of model train items supports the YMR program.

10 years ago today, we opened the store with the idea of having a place for kids to get model train items at a discount and to generate income for the Youth in Model Railroading organization. Not really knowing what to expect, it didn’t take long for people to see what we were all about. Through donations, we filled up the store pretty fast.

Come celebrate with us this Saturday from 11:00 - 2:00.

We have meet some of the most generous people that have donated to us.

We have shared stories, knowledge and a lot of laughs.
