🍎🍂 Fall is in full swing at North Star Orchards Farm Market & Bakery! 🎃🍇

This is our busiest—and one of our most beautiful—times of year, when the harvest seems to celebrate itself with an abundance of color, flavor, and activity all around the farm.

Right now, we’re picking apples, concord grapes and pumpkins galore, while our market is overflowing with the best of the local fall harvest. Tomatoes, fall squash, cauliflower, broccoli and peppers are all in season, alongside local bartlett pears and fresh-pressed apple cider—all in one place!

And our bakery is BUSY! 🥧 We’re filling the cases with homemade apple pies, apple cider donuts, pumpkin half moons and so many other delicious fall favorites. There’s something about this time of year that makes everything taste a little more special. ❤️

Our U-Pick Apples & Pumpkins season is almost here, and we’re so excited to welcome you back to the orchard this weekend!

🍎 SEPTEMBER 19th – SEPTEMBER 25th
Our two lower orchards will be open for apple picking 8 AM–6 PM daily

The lower orchards are located ¼ mile from the market and are accessible by walking only

Lower Orchard Varieties:
🍏 McIntosh & Cortland (very limited due to frost)
🍎 Gala
🍎 Fuji
🍎 Empire

🚜 FREE WAGON RIDES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 26/27th!🎃

Starting Sept. 26/27th enjoy FREE wagon rides out to our U-Pick Apples & U-Pick Pumpkins from 10 AM–4 PM

Additional U-Pick weekends:

🍂 October 10/11/12 Columbus Day

After Sept. 25th U-Pick is available 10 AM–4 PM on weekends only and pickers must take the wagon ride

🍎 U-PICK APPLE BAGS

$12 — 1-peck bag (12 lbs.)
$20 — ½ bushel bag (24 lbs.)

Picking bags are available at the market or picking kiosk. Please purchase and pay for your bag before heading out to pick

Admission, parking, wagon rides & the kids’ corn maze are FREE! 🌽

🐾 Please note: Per NYS FSMA requirements, pets are not permitted in the orchards or farm market

There’s something magical about this time of year at North Star Orchards — when the last days of Summer meet the first signs of Fall☀️🍁

The farm market is still overflowing with Summer’s best: homegrown tomatoes, sweet corn, local peaches, plums & nectarines, alongside bright sunflowers, garden bouquets, and local Everest grapes. 🌻🍑🍇

And just like that, Fall begins to arrive… with fresh-picked apples, jumbo cabbage & cauliflower, pumpkins & gourds, corn stalks and straw bales filling the farm. 🍎🎃

It’s the changing light, crisp mornings, warm afternoons, and colors of the landscape that make this one of the most beautiful times of year in Upstate New York.

We’re stocked with Pennsylvania freestone peaches, perfect for canning, along with homegrown tomatoes, blueberries, and garlic. New York white and yellow peaches have just started, too! 🍑

You’ll also find local cauliflower, broccoli, fresh greens, and pickling cukes—so much local freshness to enjoy this time of year! 🥦🥒
