The perfect little fall accessory does exist. ☕🍂

A cozy coffee cup with its own spoon slot — because apparently mugs can have their lives more together than the rest of us. 😂

Perfect for coffee, cocoa, tea… or whatever gets you through a chilly Westport morning.

There’s just something about eating saltwater taffy next to an actual working marina that feels correct.

Boats coming in. Gulls loudly expressing their opinions. That Westport breeze reminding you who’s in charge.

And a bag of taffy that somehow keeps getting lighter.

That’s a pretty good afternoon.

We considered writing a long, sophisticated description of this fudge.

Then we looked at the picture again.

Yeah.

We’re just going to leave this here. 🤤

Candy confession time.

What is a candy you KNOW you should share…

but absolutely do not?

No judgment here.

This is a safe space.*

Some people are easy to shop for.

Other people give you answers like:

“Oh, I don’t need anything.”

Very helpful, Susan.

That’s when we start combining the good stuff: something fun, something Westport-y and something edible.

Candy has saved many a gift-giving situation around here.

“Hey Paula, what’s new?” 👀
Apparently we’re going to keep asking until she runs out of new things to show us. 😂
Spoiler: that doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.

Fall showed up, and apparently it brought fudge. 🍂🍎🎃

Our seasonal flavors are back:

Pumpkin Pie
Loaded Pumpkin
Apple Pie
Caramel Apple

And these aren’t just “fall-flavored” in name. We use real ingredients like Libby’s pumpkin and dehydrated apple pieces that are rehydrated in apple c***r before going into the fudge.

Basically, we took fall very seriously.

Now the important question: pumpkin or apple? 👀

We get to see Westport every day, but everybody notices something different.

The boats.
The beach.
The lighthouse.
The fog.
The sunsets.
The gull stealing somebody’s lunch.

Drop it in the comments. We’d love to see Westport through your eyes.

September, you’ve been pretty good to us.

Fishing boats. Treasure hunting. Bikes rolling into town. Changing weather. Familiar faces. New visitors. And enough candy around here to handle all of it.

Thanks to everyone who wandered through Sea Bird this month, stopped to chat, brought somebody new in, recommended us to a visitor, or simply waved hello.

That’s the good stuff.

Okay… the fudge is also the good stuff.

But you know what we mean. ❤️

Our Pumpkin Pie Fudge is back, made with real Libby’s pumpkin and all the cozy, spiced goodness you want this time of year.

Add a warm drink, a chilly Westport day, and suddenly staying inside sounds like a pretty solid plan.

Who else is fully in pumpkin season now? 🍂
