This Saturday! We are kicking off Fall in downtown Wetumpka with our Front Porch Fall Festival from 10 am to 4 pm. Sweet Home Books is so excited to have author Maggie Rapier coming to sign her books from The Magpie and the Wolf Duology from 11am to 1 pm. We have tons of sales going on throughout the store—just look for the green tag! There are so many fun things happening Saturday (including line dancing lessons)! Be sure to check information on Main Street Wetumpka’s social media pages for times and details. We can’t wait to see you here!

It’s another New Release Tuesday, and I am ready to dive into so many of these! Which are you going to add to your TBR?

🔔 We have SIGNED copies of Grim Tidings, y’all. I am giddy, and it looks so pretty. Just be aware that if you order online, it needs to be the version that states it’s indie; otherwise it’s just for the original version.

🫖Today’s Teas and Tomes Book Club was so much fun! We really enjoyed discussing The Crescent Moon Tearoom by Stacy Sivinski. Everyone really wishes they had a house like the Quigley sisters that would wash their dishes and decorate for the seasons for them. We also definitely believe Stacy Sivinski is indeed a word witch (despite her claims to the contrary in the Acknowledgements) because we were completely bewitched by this story and want to know what comes next in The Witching Moon Manor.

Today has some really amazing stories coming your way: the conclusion to the Everflame saga, a new Ariel Lawhon book, a new paranormal romance from the Pumpkin Spice Cafe queen Laurie Gilmore, a witchy release from Alice Hoffman to read before watching Practical Magic 2 in theaters, a new literary fiction book from RF Kuang, and so many others.
