Just a heads up I will be closed tomorrow Friday September 11th. Because I want to have a three day weekend and there’s no one here that can tell me I can’t. Normal business hours start again next week. That is all picture for attention.

Update on current project

Let’s talk clamps. Since it’s incredibly hot and i needed to take a break. Customers always seem to walk in when I’m in the middle of a project and say (Think You Have Enough Clamps? ) My answer is always absolutely not. Being a one man shop these are my extra hands. I definitely have my favorites and I have the ones that i only use when i absolutely have to. I’ll list mine from my favorite to the ones I hate. On the vise grip style clamps

1st place Milwaukee Torque Lock. This thing is fantastic holds everything I’ve ever needed it to latches and unlatches easily when I want it too just a fantastic clamp all the way around.

2nd place and my most expensive clamps the Stronghand. I will say these probably grip harder than the Milwaukee but when you are trying to hold something and one hand adjusts it to where you want it’s a pain. And sometimes they don’t want to come unlatch.

3rd the OG. Vise-Grip they just do the job pretty straightforward and strong only fall back is the spring and unlocking  mechanism tend to randomly break.

Last place and i originally bought a lot of these when first starting out because they were cheap i only have a few left and they tic me off everytime im down to just them is the Pittsburgh brand they don’t hold much and bend twist and break easily not even worth the cheap price tag for a weld shop clamp.

I will be closed today due to illness. Projects can still be dropped off. With any luck I’ll be back to work tomorrow. Sorry for inconvenience.

I will be closing early tomorrow July 31st at noon. Because I want to. Will be running normal business hours again starting Monday morning. Have a fun safe weekend everyone. Pic for attention

Today's project: John Deere brushhog repair. When in doubt, make it stout is the motto for this project. Came in with a bent wing axle; was able to cut the bent section out and save the mounts. Ordered a heavy .5 wall pipe that slides into the old one; the entire length is burned in with some multipass welds, and it's finished and ready to return to service.
