Here is our limited 80th Anniversary boxcar.

As it turns, take in the colorful, high-quality prints. A whimsical scene of cute figures riding a train wraps the sides in bright, detailed artwork.

The black-masked roof sits clean against the decoration. Look closer at the finely detailed roof walk, scale grab irons, ladders, and other prototype features that define every Kadee car.

Underneath, our HGC self-centering trucks keep the car stable and free-rolling. At the ends, scale Magne-Matic couplers deliver the reliable, realistic operation modelers expect.

Whew... it's already been a busy one! 🚂

We're in Chattanooga, Tennessee for the NMRA National Convention & National Train Show, and it's been so much fun catching up with familiar faces and meeting new ones all week.

The National Train Show is officially open to the public Saturday, August 1, from 9 AM–4 PM, and Sunday, August 2, from 9 AM–4 PM at the Chattanooga Convention Center. If you're in town, come say hi, talk trains, browse the latest from Kadee, or just stop by to chat. We promise we don't just talk about couplers... okay, maybe we do. 😉

Introducing Kadee’s new July car. It’s a SOO Line 50-foot PS-1 boxcar. This car sports sliding 9-foot Youngstown doors on either side and striking paint scheme. Built 11-61 it also comes equipped with the modern ajax brake wheel. And just like all of our award-winning cars, it features: scale metal couplers, HGC self-centering trucks, scale ladders and grab irons, as well as detailed prints and see-through roof walks. This is a great looking car with a fantastic paint scheme. Get yours before they sell out.

We made it! We traded the Rogue Valley for the Rockies this week and just finished getting the booth dialed in.

Check out Alan—he’s officially ready for the Rocky Mountain Train Show tomorrow! 🛠️✨
