I see things differently than the average person I think. When I look at a border of trees I don’t just see trees I see a line of different colors and textures blending together to create a tapestry. When I look at water I’m not just looking at water I am looking at a sea of different patterns and shapes as they roll up on the shoreline and disappear into the sand. When I look at a flower I don’t just see a flower I absorb every part of it the smell is intoxicating. And when I watch the sunset I am not just watching the sunset I become one with it.

I have not dropped off the planet but I have been very busy getting my nonprofit up and running. I am currently accepting orders for anyone wanting something special. I have a handful of orders that I will be working on this week. Please watch your DM if I am currently working on yours. And a heartfelt thank you for being so supportive and understanding of the delay as I was getting the studio up and running and setting up the nonprofit for Alchemy. I have a plateful right now but it’s good to be back up and running again. Here’s something to wet your whistle. Originally she was entitled dead inside but I now have a new profound perspective and she is having a rebirth of sorts and is looking a lot more positive about her future.

God answered my prayers with a storm.
When God gives you a storm it’s not meant to punish you it’s meant to prepare you for a purpose. As most of you may remember back in the spring of 2019 I came back from Florida to a flood in my house. I remember standing in my kitchen trying to process the damage which was the entire lower level of my 2000 sq foot house and half of my studio basement. It was destroyed as water ran from a busted pipe for 3 solid days unattended until my girlfriend came over and discovered it. A friend had come previous turned the water on and left. This was a very dark and turbulent time of my life. On top of that my boyfriend at the time couldn’t handle it let alone me and cut and ran. So I was basically on my own which is an unfortunate situation that I’m all to familiar with. But I digress. Fast forward to
last night laying in bed I saw a facebook post about the non profit in Palm Harbor that I connected with last year just before I came back to Michigan. They were collecting donations for survivors of hurricane Helene and were also putting together a support group for women who experienced severe trauma from the storm. My heart actually skipped a beat for a minute because I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I thought to myself I was literally made for this. I have been watching the devastation and feeling helpless and overwhelmed because I know what this experience feels like. I have been looking for any kind of sign for more than a year and a half about my nonprofit organization for art therapy which still hasn’t gone through. For the last few months I had all but given up hope that this was what I was supposed to be doing. In that moment everything came rushing together and finally made sense for me. The struggles challenges and unanswered questions of what I have been doing for well over a year now which has been basically nothing waiting for the paperwork to be pushed through. I responded immediately to Jayne which is the project coordinator that I wanted to offer my help with the survivors. My own personal experience has prepared me for a deep understanding of what something like this does to you. I actually suffered PTSD from it and I was not nearly as affected as it some of for these women. Now I finally see the path clear and that old familiar feeling of burning in the pit of my stomach called passion….which I have been lacking for a very long time. Wild horses can’t keep me from pursuing my dreams in Florida now. Obviously this is only one instance where I can be of service but it’s a start and that is all I need. I create as I speak ♥️🙏🏻

In honor of labor day…I would say that I work but that would be a lie. I have always aligned myself with my purpose and in doing so never felt like I toiled and labored. I have been blessed with a gift that continues to give and inspire people who appreciate creativity. I wouldn’t say lucky because it took a little bravery dedication and determination. Sometimes when you make something look easy people don’t think that you do anything. Everyone has something special inside them I just found what I loved and made it my life.

Revisiting the design of the gutter extension. It works but I want to make it more user friendly. If you can be patient great if not then at install the gutter needs to be crimped to fit properly. The glaze is rock solid I nailed it on this.
