The mission of MADE is to provide a creative option for children and teens interested in learning how to sew and other creative classes/camps. Our classes are offered in White Oak, PA at the West Raspberry Event space. I have been a full-time Family and Consumer sciences teacher (formerly Home Ec) teaching students sewing and other various fiber arts/crafts since 2008. I work at Pine-Richland High
School where I teach FCS classes and direct the preschool in the high school program. I have had 15 years of experience teaching children and teens a variety crafts including: sewing, knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, embroidery, soapmaking, candle-making, cosmetics formulation, and more. My children attend Norwin (Ellie-8th grade, Sonny-6th grade, Andy-2nd grade) and now that they are older, I'd like to begin another creative adventure, offering children and teens in the Norwin and surrounding districts a place to learn and express their creativity. If you are interested in another type of class, birthday party, craft session, DIY craft kits, scout program, or adult craft parties/classes, etc.
