At this time, I simply don’t have the capacity to do the White Sulphur Springs Farmers’ Market on top of Montwell Community Market, wholesale orders, my other marketing jobs, family life and taking care of my own mental health. For a while, I saw that as a failure. Then, I reminded myself why I started this little business in the first place.

I wanted flexibility. I wanted more time with my kids. I wanted more time to work on my mental health. I wanted the freedom to be present for the stuff that *actually* matters and attempt building a life that feels different from the one I grew up watching.

This summer, I realized I haven’t really enjoyed it so much as survived it so I’m choosing to slow down and focus on myself and the fam. I’ve tried time and time again but I just don’t have the capacity to be fully present and maintain patience with my kids while also working from home for long periods at a time. Honestly, no mother should be expected to do both perfectly. It’s nearly impossible.

Financially, an extra few hundred dollars would certainly help right now but if the choice is between making more money or showing up as the parent and human I’m fighting really hard (often failing 😅) to become, I HAVE to choose that. It’s the whole reason this business was born. That’s where I’m at. Thanks for always supporting this little dream and giving me the ability to make choices like this. I love y’all. ❤️

it’s really no surprise Pocahontas was always my fav Disney princess.

I am beyond fortunate and privileged to have the opportunity to make Mother Nature a part of my full time work now. 🥹 Appalachian grown and foraged finds are alllll up in my product’s bizness🌿✨🤌🏼

From the very beginning, this fragrance…clicked for him. Rob wasted no time declaring it the signature candle of 7 Notes Natural Health and if inventory starts getting low, panic ensues so bulk orders have become the norm. lol

More about the custom blend I created~

This one is extra special to me since it’s our very first “WV themed” creation. 💛 💙 (*aside from our WV State Fair 2025 candle)

It captures that deep, cleansing breath you take high up in the mountains…sharp and renewing. Your nose is cold and red, there’s moisture in the air and everything feels alive and still all at once. At the heart of it is fresh, evergreen ~WV Spruce, in this case~ clean, grounding and unmistakably Appalachian. It finishes with that fresh, just rained vibe. 🌧️

The day started with a lovely farmer’s market @ Montwell Community Market and ended with a stroll through my beautiful neighborhood with Liam.

Ty to the cool space at Across the Board Game Cafe and whoever gifted us the ice cream at Gustard's Bistro 🥹
