We’re hiring a Kitchen Manager!
Sheepscot General is an organic farm and country store in Whitefield with a bakery, deli, and cafe — known for scratch-made sourdough, pies and pastries, and Friday Pizza Nights. We’re looking for a skilled baker and cook ready to lead our kitchen: running the sourdough program, keeping our bakery and pizza program humming, building weekly menus around what’s in season on our farm, and owning costing, pricing, and margins. ServSafe certified a plus.

We want someone organized, steady, and excited to cook from scratch with real, local ingredients — with room to bring your own creativity to the kitchen.

Starting in September, we’re adjusting our Friday hours — the store will now close at 7pm on Fridays.

Join us this Friday, September 4th, from 5-7pm on the Outdoor Stage for music from Golden Road — folk, bluegrass, and original ballads from Matt Dillon (guitar, vocals, and bass), Jamie Peghiny (guitar, vocals, and bass), and Eben and Terry Salter (guitar, mandolin, and vocals).

Our last Live Music Night of the season is Friday, September 11th, from 5-7pm, featuring David Foley and Pixie Lauer on the Outdoor Stage. Come enjoy pizza and music with us before we wrap up for the year.

This Friday, August 7th, from 6-8pm, join us on the outdoor stage for fresh pizza and live swing jazz — the kind of night where grandparents tap their toes next to toddlers on the lawn, and old friends catch up over a cold drink while new ones are made.

We’re thrilled to welcome The Hadacol Bouncers, a Portland, Maine swing outfit formed in 2013 with deep roots in the dance community. Co-led by Tom Whitehead (piano) and Peter Dunphy (banjo) — veterans of blues, New Orleans R&B, bebop, and Chicago-style jazz — the band brings together some of the best players from the Portland and Portsmouth jazz scene.

Pull up a blanket, grab a slice, and let the music do the rest. See you Friday
