It looks like 6.5” but it’s actually 1.5” of hard slush, 2” of wet and 3” of ice. I thought I was a goner when I broke through that top layer. Furthest two inches I’ve ever fallen. 😆

6”+ behind the store about 100 yards. 50/50 clear and white ice. Definitely wet and slick so wear some waterproof boots and creepers. There’s even a couple guys still fishing in the middle over the current. Ice this thick isn’t going to go away overnight but the shore will be getting sloppy.
