I think sometimes itā€™s hard to understand what goes into the price of handmade sterling silver jewelry, so letā€™s play a little guessing game.

This is ONE of our sterling silver bead orders:

ā€¢ 7 kilos of 3mm
ā€¢ 2 kilos EACH of 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm & 16mm
ā€¢ 1 kilo of 18mm
ā€¢ 1 kilo of 20mm

These are REAL .925 sterling silver beads.

They are machine-made, and because we have been doing this for years, we buy directly from the factory in large quantities to get the best pricing possible.

And one of the biggest challenges for me as a jewelry manufacturer this year has been the fluctuation and increase in silver pricing. Last year, I probably could have purchased close to DOUBLE this amount for the same money.

I wanted to share this because I think it puts into perspective what goes into real sterling silver jewelry before we even add stones, findings, labor, design, packaging, overhead, or anything else.
