🔥 FRESHIE TIP OF THE DAY: TEXAS HEAT EDITION 🔥

Today we’re playing a fun little game called…

HOW DO WE KEEP OUR FRESHIES FROM MELTING OFF THE DANG HOOK IN THIS TEXAS HEAT?! 😂☀️

Today’s experiment: setting the eye hook into the freshie BEFORE baking instead of screwing it in afterward. The idea is to let the beads melt and form around the eye hook during the bake and hopefully give that sucker a little more staying power. 🤞😂

We’re testing it out, so I’ll report back on whether Texas says “cute idea” and melts it off anyway. 😂

In the meantime, here are a few ways to help your freshie survive the summer:

☀️ Use a windshield shade when your car is parked.
☀️ Crack the windows when it’s safe to do so to help some of that trapped heat escape.
☀️ Don’t leave your freshie touching the windshield or dashboard. Let it hang freely!
☀️ If your car is going to sit in the blazing sun for hours, take your freshie down and store it somewhere cooler.
☀️ Never lay a hot/soft freshie on your dash, console or seats — it can melt onto surfaces.
☀️ If you notice it starting to get soft, get it out of the heat before gravity wins. 😂

Freshies smell amazing, but unfortunately they were not built with Texas surface-of-the-sun temperatures in mind. 🤣🔥

Y’ALL. 😳😂 The response to the new Freshie Charms has been absolutely INSANE — in the BEST way possible!

Because of the overwhelming number of orders, I am running just a little behind right now, but I promise I am working as fast as I possibly can to get everything made and headed your way! 🩵

✨ LITTLE FRESHIE TIP OF THE DAY! ✨

If you’ve bought freshie molds from me, chances are you’ve gotten one with some tiny details at some point. 😂 I try to keep those to a minimum, but sometimes those little details are what MAKE the design!

Everyone has their own baking method, but one thing that has made a NIGHT & DAY difference for me with detailed molds is 👉 ULTRA-FINE GLITTER DUST! ✨

Here’s what I do:

1️⃣ DUST THAT MOLD!
Use a soft-bristle brush to cover the designed portion of the mold with 1/128 or 1/360 ultra-fine glitter dust. Use a color that matches your main bead color — or clear if you have it.

Don’t be stingy! You want that dust down in all those little details and crevices.

2️⃣ FIRST BAKE
Add about ⅓–½ of your aroma beads and bake at 325°F for 11 minutes.

3️⃣ ADD THE REST
Pour in the remaining beads, spread them out and gently press them down to help push them into all those little crevices.

🔥 Bake for another 11 minutes at 325°F.

4️⃣ AND NOW... LEAVE IT ALONE. 😂
Take it out and let it COOL COMPLETELY IN THE MOLD.

I know you want to see it.
I know you want to poke it.
I know you want to lift that little corner...

🚨 DON’T DO IT. 😂 Let that baby COOL!

Once it’s completely cooled, demold it and you should have much cleaner, sharper details and lines! 🙌

⚠️ Keep in mind: 325°F/11 + 11 minutes is what works in MY oven. Ovens vary, so do a couple test bakes and adjust your time/temp as needed. This isn’t a guarantee that every freshie will magically come out perfect — because freshies like to humble us sometimes 😂 — but it should put you on the right track!

Y’all… the options were stressing ME out, and I’m the one who made them. 🤦‍♀️😂 So I cleaned everything up and made ordering MUCH easier. Less “what the heck do I pick?” and more add to cart. 🙌
