Stevens Magic Emporium Stevens Magic Emporium (SME) has enjoyed over 50 successful years working in the magic business catering to the working professional magician and hobbyist.

SME was started by Joe and Martha Stevens. Initially, Joe started selling collectable magic in the 60’s; which turned out to be the springboard that started the larger and full-time operation. Over the years trading magic and information with the likes of Buma Sr., Harold Martin, Les Smith and others, the transformation was made to full time magic in 1973. Realizing the importance of outreach SME

has been credited with being the first company in magic to develop a “mag-a-log” (or cat-a-zine) consisting of high quality items along with features stories and celebrity profiles. This combination was successful and is a recognized consistent feature in all future sales publications. In addition to the unique aspects of the mag-a-logs, the featuring of sequential photos of actual products (not sketches or just text), coupled with extensive ad copy, allowed the recipient to be able to actually see how the effect played out by viewing the sequential photos. These and other features (the catalog printed on heavy stock, glossy front paper) helped SME gain prominence and respect from magicians who longed for details that previously were not available. In fact, many collectors have saved all the SME catalogs, claiming that they will be worth a lot in the years to come (similar to old K.C. Card Catalogs). We are honored to hear these remarks and wish we would have saved some of our early catalogs, too.

To the only magician I've ever witnessed who created not just a successful brand but an international subculture along with a growing cult like status. He affectionately refers to his fans as "my peoples." Mr. Piffles Heads!" The man has an incredibly loyal following with fans often engaging in caravans whe he tours. Not to the extent of the Greatful Dead (of course) - at least not yet! We are greatful to PIFF the talented Jade Simone (who is much more than just an assistant and Mr. Piffles for amping up Magic's Cool 😎 factors for all especially a younger, hipper segment that arguably would have never appreciated the art of not for Piff. Yes the rumors are true regards to Mr. Piffles is demanding a renegotiation by the end of 2026 or he says he'll run out to open his own show. Cwq Stay Tuned! It's a wild ride!

August 11th Lecture. I have been blessed to watch some of the greatest minds in the art. I spent 3 days watching Yoan in the same booth interacting with magicians. I became truly enlightened by the broad levels of creative and psychological metacognition he builds into his routines. A lyricists can write a great song 🎶 but Yoan creates routines that benefit from a type of placicity (allowing room for dynamic flow) that empowers him to alter or enhance the impact of his magic without hesitation based on real time interaction. It's hard to put this skill sets into words but the inclusion of Yoan's insight is the essence between a good magician and and iconic one Iike Yoan. Alien Technology: Some say this paper was recovered from an alien crash recovery craft which was then immediately transferred to New Mexico Area 51 under the cover of night. And it is just a small sample of the incredible feats of an advanced alien technology. We have tried to press Robert Furlong using enhance interrogation techniques such as locking his eyelids open (ala Clockwork Orange) and making him watch hours and hours or card tricks to try to get him to break and tell us more about this highly restricted super top secret information. For those of you that know Ron and thought he was always traveling for work reasons, the truth is he is constantly on the run looking over his shoulder for Stevens Magic Agents still dedicated to get to the bottom of this alien technology.
