💜 Offers Become Blessings: November Partner 💜
Each month, Offers Become Blessings gives us an opportunity to take the generosity shown at our altar and pass it forward into our community.
For November, we’re honored to support Left on Read, Wichita’s independent Black-owned bookstore and the only Black-owned bookstore in Kansas. Left on Read centers books by Black authors while creating a space rooted in representation, perspective, community, wellbeing, and joy.
And right now, that space could use some community around them.
Earlier this year, grant funding ended unexpectedly. When funding disappears, the work doesn’t disappear with it. The books are still there. The doors still need to open. The events still happen. The community still needs the space.
That’s why we chose Left on Read for November. We believe deeply in supporting the people and places doing meaningful work right here in our own community, especially when a little extra support can make a difference.
Community takes care of community. This month, we get to put that belief into action.
Throughout November, 100% of the offerings left at the Connect With Source altar will be donated to Left on Read. 💜
There is never an obligation to leave an offering when visiting our altar. But if you choose to leave one this month, know that your offering will become something tangible beyond our walls, helping support another local space built around belonging, representation, education, and connection.
And support doesn’t have to stop there.
Visit Left on Read. Buy a book. Tell someone about them. Share their fundraiser. Leave a review. Small actions become much bigger when an entire community starts taking them together.
Because Offers Become Blessings was never about how much one person could give.
It’s about what happens when all of us give a little. 💜
