Want to learn how to make a quilt top but don’t know where to start? Come spend the day sewing with us, and we’ll walk you through it!

One of our favorite things about this pattern is how different it can look depending on the fabrics you choose!

You can bring your own fabric, or let us help! The Daisy Attic can put together a curated fabric bundle for you based on the colors and style you’re looking for. 🤍

We’ll cover cutting, piecing, keeping that ¼" seam allowance, putting your blocks together, and getting your quilt top finished and ready for quilting.

🎀 Large Reversible Door Bow Class 🎀

Have you ever wanted one of those big, beautiful bows for your front door but thought, “I could probably make that…”? Well, now you can!

In this class, you’ll learn how to make a large reversible bow using two different techniques. One side will feature a fun patchwork design, while the other uses a single fabric — so you’ll get to learn both methods and create a bow that’s completely your own.

These bows are great for front doors, walls, wreaths, mantels, shelves, or anywhere else that could use a little something extra!

And the best part? Once you know how to make one, the possibilities are endless! Change the fabrics, colors, patterns, and sizes to make bows for every season, holiday, or just because you found a fabric you love. 🎀

🧵 Our First Adult Sewing & Quilting Classes Are Here! 🧵

We’ve been working behind the scenes putting these together, and we’re so excited to finally share them with you!

We have a few different projects to choose from, and our classes are designed to be welcoming for all skill levels! Whether you’re brand new to sewing or have been quilting for years. Come learn something new, make something you’ll love, and spend some time creating with us!

We’ll also be sharing more photos of the projects over the coming days, so keep an eye out for a closer look at what you’ll be making!

This is just the beginning! We already have more classes in the works for the new year, including a T-Shirt Quilt Class!

How We Ended Up With a Longarm 💛

Early in the morning last week, I happened to see a longarm quilting machine on Facebook Marketplace. I immediately messaged Abigail that we had a problem… 😂

It was a few hours before we could even really talk and figure out what we were going to do about this “problem”

We’ve talked about owning a longarm for SO long, so when the opportunity actually came up, it was one of those “wait… are we really doing this?!” moments. 🥹

Fast forward to pickup day, and suddenly we were loading up our very own longarm, bringing it home, and figuring out how to get this giant machine into our studio. So far, all of that has actually been easier than working out a completely new system, but we’re getting there! 😂

We absolutely could not have done it without our families helping us break it down, haul it home, and rebuild it. 💛

We’re still trying to wrap our heads around the fact that we actually have our own longarm, but we are SO excited for this next chapter of The Daisy Attic!

We have some VERY exciting news… we have our very own longarm in the studio! 🥳🧵

Getting it here was quite the adventure, including a U-Haul, a lot of careful planning, and probably more excitement than should be involved in moving a very large quilting machine 😂

But she’s officially here and we are SO excited to start putting her to work!

Having our own longarm means we can do more quilting in-house and opens up so many possibilities for The Daisy Attic. We can’t wait to share what we’re working on! 💛

Kids’ Quilting Classes are here! ✨

We’re excited to announce our next round of Kids’ Quilting Classes! These six week classes are designed for kids ages 8+ who are ready to learn the basics of quilting while creating a finished quilt of their very own. 💛

Students will get hands on experience with sewing, cutting, piecing, quilting, and more, all while building a skill they can enjoy for years to come!
