Are we real beekeepers or do we just care about likes?🐝

This organization is entirely made up of real, legit, actual beekeepers who could care less about likes and follows. (A lot of our members don’t even have social media because they are busy maintaining their operations.)

🍯We exist to support and advocate for American beekeepers. We exist to promote and protect American honey producers. We’re striving to keep American honey American.🍯

We strive to educate others about honey bees and beekeeping, and provide fun, relatable content.

“How can I use this honey?”🍯 Great question, we’ll tell you!

Honey is super versatile and can be consumed in a variety of ways. Drizzle it over pancakes, ice cream, cheesecake, chicken, fruit salad, salmon, pork chops—the possibilities are endless!

It’s even great on pizza. Yep, pizza. Try a spicy pepperoni pizza and cut the heat with a drizzle of sweet!🤌🏻 Trust us, it’s delicious.

Honey is also great in coffee and tea. When mixed with peanut butter, it becomes the perfect fruit dip!

Using honey regularly might feel intimidating, but adding it to almost any recipe/dish is so easy! Give it a try!

This Barbie—oops, bee—is getting ready to take a winter break!🎀❄️

As the weather cools off and the colony prepares for the winter, the queen will slow her egg laying duties.

She typically begins slowing down in mid-fall as temperatures become consistently cool. Unlike the spring and summer months, there usually aren’t enough resources to support a growing hive in the winter. So the queen slows or even stops laying eggs to account for it.

In late winter, she starts back up again, gradually increasing the new additions with the rise in temperatures/resources. 💖
