Today is a GREAT DAY FOR TACOS!!! We are at Elmwood Park today for 2026 Taco Fest put on by SociaRae Inc and Huddle Up Moms so come on out for hot sauce and corn salsa and a full table of sample hot sauces to put on your tacos.

Oh and also, it is MFing NEW SAUCE DAY but quietly. Fight Milk makes it's sneaky debut today at the Taco Fest and at Hot Stuff 😎 Coconut Thai Curry inspired with fermented lemon starburst peppers, coconut cream powder, pepitas, rice vin and lemongrass extract. This sauce will help you to FIGHT LIKE A CROW! Limited supply, one case at each location for today!

The return of our fan favorite vegan-friendly kimchi is upon us! Just took two buckets out of ferment and I've gotta say, this is the best batch of kimchi I have ever made. It's a bit spicier than the last couple of runs, but nothing over the top. Available later today at Hot Stuff and next weekend at the Blacksburg Farmers Market (Not available at Steppin Out this week, due to the heat and length of the day). NEW SAUCE DAY because what says Summer Solstice like a Thanksgiving inspired hot sauce?! Meet Hot Toboggan, officially on the table at all locations (website later today) for the first time today. A base of fermented red jalapenos and smoked super hot peppers (ghost and chocolate habs this round) meets cranberries, local maple syrup from Savage Acres, and some delicious bourbon from J.H. Bards Spirit Co. right here in Blacksburg. Its tangy, smoky, and has a great heat level to it.

Find us all day at Summer Solstice fest in Blacksburg, or at the Grandin LEAP market and Farmers Market At Ix in cville til noon!

"The Gang Goes To The Jersey Shore... To Sell Hot Sauce"

The Fermented Fire crew had a great time this weekend at the Jersey Shore. When our festival didn't pan out how we wanted it to, we decided to take the next day to introduce ourselves to some of the local shops, and ended up leaving a good bit of sauce on the shelves of our two newest retailers: Moondog Market in Belmar and The Flying Pig Market in Asbury Park! If you met us this weekend or last month up there, be sure to pop in to both of these great spots to find us and support your local mom and pop shop.

Incredibly thankful for a supportive partner and family, who all played their part in pivoting after a rough start to the weekend.

One more shout-out to Cookman Creamery for the best non-dairy ice cream we've ever had. Went all three nights, which will surprise nobody who knows how much I love ice cream, but it was just that good!

The man, the myth, the legend. Danny Debeeto has climbed out of a couch near you! *Warning: swiping to the end may be a bit... Disturbing due to the video the ai gave us. You'll see.

Local red jalapeños fermented with beets, plus some dried peppers, natural apple cider vin, and a touch of brown sugar. With a deep crimson color and a perfectly balanced flavor profile of tangy, spicy, earthy and sweet, this sauce was as perfect as the man-cheetah himself from the get-go.

The sun is out this weekend, and so is the Always Spicy tent! Find us tomorrow at and where we are bringing a sneak peak of a new sauce featuring fermented beets and named after everyone's favorite toe knife wielding, egg giving, couch hiding gem of a human being. It is not yet for sale, but take advantage of our 5-bottle deal and we'll make it a 6-bottle deal!

Sauerkraut and kimchi available in Blacksburg as well! Only 3 kraut left, so if our kraut person out there and sees this, they're for you!

And finally, our brick and mortar store is open 12-6 all weekend with all your faves!

February hours at Hot Stuff!

Come see us as we close out winter with a couple more hours on the schedule. Come March, look for us to be open a couple extra days once we thaw out a bit more.
