I hate the Mets, but I really like Francisco Alvarez so I buy into a lot of breaks for his rookies. Thankfully my guy hit me some pure fire yesterday. Both the Alvarez Topps Series 2 Black Border Auto and an extremely cool (if he weren’t a Met legend), David Wright Reverence Patch Auto 5/5 (Jersey number!). Go Phillies!

Been a while since I jumped in a break, but if I’m gonna do it, I’m going with Luft. Grabbed the Rays and Mets in a case of Bowman’s Best. While I didn’t get the Caminero auto I was hoping for, the Mets absolutely crushed. Keep in mind, I hate the Mets, but I like Alvarez and appreciate the impact of the New York market on cards. The wild thing is…Luft also pulled a dual auto of the younger Acuña brothers /25…but I lost that in a random to the Twins. It was an unbelievable Mets case. Thanks Luft!

Only got to bust one box of 2023 Bowman Draft. This is a far cry from the days when I would bust 20-40 cases personally....

Only got to bust one box of 2023 Bowman Draft. This is a far cry from the days when I would bust 20-40 cases personally. From my sense of the CL I get the impression that I did pretty darn well getting 2 autos of first rounders in one box. The Gonzalez is /71. I guess the Skenes isn’t that tough of a pull but I’m happy with it. Also got a Max Clark refractor and a Kemp Alderman Blue Refractor. All in all a fun box to open. Thanks for picking me a good one.
