As a father raising children, including a daughter with special needs, Father’s Day means more to me than just a celebration. It’s about support, community, mental health, and making sure no parent feels alone.

This Father’s Day, we’re bringing the community together for a day of food, music, family fun, giveaways, resources, and meaningful conversations about men’s mental health and supporting families affected by disabilities and special needs.

A huge thank you to all of our community partners, volunteers, businesses, and organizations helping make this event possible. Your support means everything.

Reflecting on Saturday’s NAACP Cookout: A Day of Unity and Inspiration

This past Saturday was truly special at the NAACP cookout! Being surrounded by so many inspiring individuals reminded me why we do what we do—lifting each other up and creating real change in our communities. From the laughter to the deep conversations, every moment reinforced the power of unity. I’m proud to stand with the NAACP and contribute to a brighter future. Had a great time attending the NEPA Networkers Summer Quarterly Event! 🙌🏽

It was wonderful seeing familiar faces, reconnecting with friends, and meeting new people who are making a positive impact throughout our community. I had the opportunity to meet Bob and Chris, and it was inspiring to hear about the great work they’re doing and the difference they’re making.

One conversation that really stood out to me was with a college student who shared a powerful story of recovery, perseverance, and personal growth. Hearing their journey was inspiring, and in many ways, it was something I could relate to. It was a reminder that no matter where we come from or what challenges we’ve faced, growth is possible when we keep pushing forward.

The biggest takeaway from the evening was the value of connection. Meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and learning from one another are what make events like this so impactful. Every person has a story, and every connection has the potential to create something positive.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to connect. Looking forward to building more relationships, supporting our community, and continuing to grow alongside so many amazing people here in NEPA. 🤝💙

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to sit down with Liam and have a meaningful conversation about business growth, branding, content creation, organization, and building systems that make the day-to-day work process more efficient.

One of the biggest takeaways from our conversation was the importance of creating structure, staying consistent, and focusing on long-term growth while balancing family, community involvement, and entrepreneurship. As I continue building Kings Raising Queens, I’m always looking for ways to improve, learn, and serve my community more effectively.

I appreciate Liam taking the time to share his knowledge, experiences, and perspective. Conversations like these are valuable because they challenge us to think bigger, work smarter, and stay committed to our goals.

This past Sunday, we came together to do something special — and the results were BEAUTIFUL.

From 12PM to 4PM, we hosted a community giveaway, feeding hardworking single moms and single dads right here in our neighborhood. 💪🏽

And we couldn’t have done it without our amazing partners at Los Dos Carnes — who didn’t just provide the food, they rolled up their sleeves and SERVED alongside us. That’s what real community partnership looks like! 🙌🏽

To every family that came out — YOU are why we do this. You are seen, you are appreciated, and you are LOVED. 🫶🏽

🔥 What an INCREDIBLE evening! Last Thursday, I had the phenomenal opportunity to attend the Wilkes Barre Power event featuring Larry Newman, and I can honestly say — it was absolutely OUTSTANDING! 🙌🏽

Larry delivered a speech that was nothing short of informative, inspiring, and impactful. He spoke eloquently about how Diamond City Partners has been supporting and investing in business owners right here at the Public Square — nurturing growth and creating real opportunities in our community. 💼✨

And let’s recognize Wilkes Barre Power — a phenomenal nonprofit organization dedicated to hosting meaningful networking events and helping businesses thrive. Their commitment to community development is truly exceptional. 🤝❤️

Being in that room was a special moment for me. I got to connect with Larry Newman in person for the first time, and I can tell you — he’s an incredible human being with genuine passion for lifting up our community. Plus, seeing familiar faces and friends made it even more memorable. 💪🏽

Today, we honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

Memorial Day hits differently for me personally. My father was a veteran, and over the years I’ve also lost a lot of friends and family who meant the world to me. Some battles people carry are seen, and some are silent — but their love, lessons, memories, and impact stay with us forever. 🙏🏽🕊️

At Kings Raising Queens LLC, we believe strength isn’t only shown in battle — it’s shown in fatherhood, motherhood, leadership, sacrifice, resilience, and showing up for your family and community every single day. 👑

As a single father and business owner, today reminds me how important it is to value time, family, unity, purpose, and the people we love while they’re here. We’re sending love and appreciation to all veterans, military families, grieving families, and every person carrying unseen pain while still pushing forward every day.
