Hi all! We wanted to be transparent and share some information regarding A Court of Splintered Harmony. We’ve been informed that the publisher has restricted distributors from sending the books to arrive prior to October 26th. Normally we receive new releases several days in advance .. but not this time. So what does this mean? If there’s a shipping delay of any kind, it could result in our order not arriving on time for our midnight release.

While we expect everything to go perfectly and to receive our shipment on time for our midnight release, we just want to go ahead and share in advance that any shipping delays will be out of our control. We will be tracking that package every moment of the day leading up to Oct 26.

One other thing to note.. this impacts all bookstores and we’re all doing our best to make sure not to disappoint our customers.

Hello TBR friends! I wanted to take a moment to officially introduce myself. My name is Kate! Erica and Holly brought me on to the team at the end of May as Events Coordinator. You will see me at any events we are hosting or participating in and sometimes in the store! I have had the pleasure of meeting several of you in person but I know I haven't met everyone yet.

Another thing I have been recently asked to do is post book reviews! I read in pretty much all of my spare time and am meticulous about leaving reviews on Goodreads, storygraph, and my personal insta/fb already.
We are all going to try to post reviews of things we are reading lately. Hopefully between all of us, you'll see something that catches your eye!

I will start out with my most recent read. The Sun and The Starkmaker by Rachel Griffin. This YA fantasy standalone is a wonderful option if you're looking for a palette cleanser between long series, or if you just want a really beautiful fantasy book to get lost in for a while. It gave me Narnia as well as Beauty and the Beast vibes at some points in the story but it is definitely its own unique story. Very character driven. It kept my attention, made me cry, and was heartwarming all in the same story. I flew through this one in about 2.5 days and enjoyed every minute of it.
We do have a copy in store right now! Look for my staff picks marker under in the YA section! (it looks different than my copy)
