This week at The Wandering Witch is a journey through the veil with the power of sound, an exploration of the element of air, Mabon magic in candle form, game nights, diving into your Big 3, learning the art of tea leaf readings, discovering how music can be used as divination, and a Saturday full of cards and community.

The wheel is turning toward autumn and we can feel it on the breeze and woven into the fiber of everything - the quality of the light, the pull toward something quieter and deeper, the sense that the harvest season is asking us to take stock and prepare for the descent that lies ahead. 💜✨🍂

Musings from your Wandering Witch 💜

No one tells you how difficult it is to be a small business owner.

How quickly you grow up, even when you’re already grown.

You open a shop because you love something. You want to build a place where people gather, learn, create, and find each other. And somewhere along the way, you realize you’re learning just as much about people as you are about business.

You find camaraderie with other small business owners people who understand the weight of keeping something alive.

And sometimes you find yourself in the middle of drama you didn’t even know you were part of because you thought everyone involved was simply your friend.

It’s strange how lonely owning something built around community can become in a second.

Five years of this shop has taught me that people come and go. Friendships change. Communities shift. There are seasons when the room is overflowing and seasons when you wonder who will still be sitting beside you when it gets quiet.

But five years has also given me my answer.

I love my circle.

It took a long time to get here, and maybe that’s why I hold it so gently now.

I look around this shop and see the people who stayed, and the people who came later but somehow feel like they’ve always been here. I see classes, circles, conversations, and friendships that have become part of the bones of this place.

And now there’s a baby in my arms watching me do it.

If I could tell the woman who first opened these doors anything, I’d tell her:

It’s going to be harder than you think.
It’s going to be lonelier than you expect.

But keep building.

There is so much good coming.

One day you’ll look around at the shop, your circle, and the little girl in your arms and realize...

these are your people.

It just took five years to find them.

And maybe you’re still looking for yours.

Come to a class. Sit in circle with us. Show up knowing absolutely no one.

You don’t have to arrive already belonging.

Sometimes you just have to walk through the door.

There’s room for you in our circle.

drag queens, kings, and everything gloriously in between - plus burlesque, musicians, poets, and variety acts of all kinds on our brand new stage!

We have two blocks to fill:

Hex Appeal: Variety Show | 5-8PM | ages 18+

Whether you've been performing for years, or you're looking for your very first stage, we would love to see you!

This is a tip-based event - performers keep 100% of what they earn, and we'll be encouraging cash tips during performances, as well as promoting your tip handles everywhere we can!

This is a week to plant intentions with the support of Virgo’s steady hand this week - stepping into the future with discernment, balance, and a willingness to be afraid and do the thing anyway. 💜✨🌑

This week at The Wandering Witch we are rising from the ashes, welcoming the New Moon in Virgo, crafting spell sachets, reconnecting with a body that’s been working overtime, witnessing our grief in community, letting spirit speak through the cards, and welcoming the first sparks of many exciting new things brewing at the shop!

On Sunday, Lexi is hosting an interest meeting for “Holiday Hijinks” - an original jukebox musical that will be premiering at our 3rd annual Hearth & Holly Fest this December!
