It’s back!! Our summer learning program is launching in store. Let us help you encourage your young learner to keep it up all summer with a $10 gift certificate to School Crossing when they complete a summer learning book.

How to participate:
☀️Purchase a summer learning workbook from School Crossing. We will mark your book for participation.
☀️Have your child complete the book and return it by August 21, 2026
☀️Earn a $10 gift certificate to be used by December 21,2026

School may be out but the learning never ends! 💡I had fun creating with my new buddy with the Rail Cube Magnetic Monorail. This fun STEM focused engineering toy is labeled for 3+ but it’s perfect for older kids like my 11yr old friend here and even adults! We are excited about the new releases from Rail Cube, we can’t wait until they land at School Crossing!

We will be dropping all kinds of toy show highlights over the next couple of days but first we want to shout out our last high school graduate! Ava joined our team during the Christmas season and has returned for the spring and summer. We have enjoyed getting to know Ava and are so excited for her as she moves onto college in the fall. Ava plans to attend Bridgewater College and study Environmental Science and minor in Wildlife Biology. She is an avid dancer and hopes to continue that alongside her studies. Please help us congratulate Ava on all of her hard work. Congratulations Ava, all of us here at School Crossing will be here cheering you on!

Game and Kit session is a family fave. We visited so many vendor tables and played games, did crafts, and tried out some new tech! Nick and I paired up for this session, he loved the new needle felting kit from Klutz! Christian really enjoyed building with wooden building bricks. We had a blast and are now off to Discovery World for ASTRAs Opening Party!

It’s hard to believe that graduation is tomorrow. We wanted to celebrate the seniors on our staff that are graduating 🎓 First up is Ollie, who has been with us since we took over in 2024. I can’t believe the growth we have been able to witness over the last two years. Ollie brings much needed youth and humor to our crew that we will miss terribly. Ollie is heading to Shenandoah University in the fall to study Theater Design and Production. Best wishes Ollie, never lose your sense of wonder and playfulness. We will be here cheering you on!
