🗳️ VOTE FOR ACTS!

We’re excited to share that ACTS is in the running for Oryana Community Co-op 2027 Groceries for Good program!

Each month, Oryana shoppers have the opportunity to round up their purchase to support a selected local nonprofit — and Oryana also donates 2% of sales on a designated day. That support can add up to thousands of dollars for organizations serving our community. (Oryana)

For ACTS, those dollars would help us continue providing food and assistance to neighbors right here in our community.

Voting is open October 1–31, and we would LOVE your vote! ❤️

We have a Celestron Omni XLT 120 telescope available at ACTS, and this is a pretty impressive setup for anyone interested in astronomy.

The Omni XLT 120 is a 120mm refractor telescope, designed to give bright, detailed views of the night sky. It’s a great option for viewing the Moon, planets, star clusters and other brighter deep-sky objects. The equatorial mount also allows for more precise tracking as objects move across the sky.

This one comes with all of the extras and is priced at $500.

Stop in and take a closer look. Who knows what you’ll find at ACTS? 🌙✨

Fun vintage find at ACTS!

How cool is this old Coronado Automatic Zigzag sewing machine? That soft pink/tan finish, chrome details, original-style foot control… they just don’t make them quite like this anymore.

Coronado machines like this were made in Japan and sold in the U.S. under the Coronado name. Similar models date to around the 1950s–1960s, when Japanese-made mechanical sewing machines became popular for their sturdy construction. Coronado was also associated with the Gambles retail chain, and many of these machines were produced by Japanese manufacturers and sold under different brand names.

And yes, that $30 ACTS price tag makes this an especially fun thrift-store find!
