Not flower related but worth a share. Saturday, I was prepping potatoes to make homemade mashed taters and realized I did not have enough potatoes for the whole family. No worries. I headed out to the grow bags sitting underneath my carport, dig down into the dirt and viola ✨potatoes✨. Growing your own food is great. You don’t need land or a lot of money. I grow potatoes in bags and buckets in my driveway using potatoes from the store that sprouted before I could cook them. Easy peasy.

Some moments remind us exactly why we do this job.

In less than two weeks, our A- Shift crew has been blessed to be part of two successful cardiac arrest resuscitations. While these outcomes are never the result of one person or one agency, they are a testament to the incredible teamwork and special pre-hospital advanced medical care skill set our members have.

Cardiac arrest survival depends on rapid recognition, early CPR, early defibrillation, and seamless teamwork. Every link in the chain of survival matters, and we’re incredibly proud of the professionalism and dedication our crews demonstrate every day.

We know that not every call ends this way, which makes these saves even more meaningful. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and honored to stand beside such an outstanding team.

Please join us in recognizing the hard work, training, and commitment of everyone involved. These are the moments that remind us why preparation, teamwork, and compassion matter.

Everything locally grown or raised except the onions (because they are some my mom gave me 🤣). Flowers, okra, potatoes , squash, zucchini from yours truly. Pork chops from Tri G Pork. 🤤 Dinner is served !

Flowers and okra….two of my favorite things 😍🤩🤣 Come see us on Saturday at the The Martin County Farmers Market. We will have locally grown, fresh cut flowers available in market wraps, jars, and vases. No okra though, I plant okra for personal enjoyment….and if I’m being honest, I snip it and eat it as a small snack while working in the field. 🌸
