We’re so pleased to share that a memorial bench honoring Ginny Sheldon is now on the grounds of the David & Joyce Milne Public Library.

Ginny was so much more than a friend and volunteer of the library - she was an integral part of the library community for decades and a beloved presence in Williamstown. She gave countless hours, tremendous energy, and genuine care to the library and the Friends of the Milne Public Library. Through her work with Chapter Two Books, she helped connect thousands of books with new readers while supporting the library and its mission. Her generosity, dedication, and love of community has made a lasting difference.

The bench provides a welcoming place to sit, read, rest, or simply enjoy the library grounds while remembering Ginny and the many ways she gave her time and energy to our community.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this special tribute possible and are so happy to have a place at the library where Ginny’s memory can continue to be part of our community.
