Quiet Corner author, Sarah P. Blanchard will be at the Willimantic Book Joint on Sunday, September 13th, 3-5pm for a discussion and book signing.

Currently she has two novels at the Book Joint, as well as books of short stories and poetry. Her recent novel Grabtown, a top seller at the Joint, is currently being adapted for film, and a new supernatural horror thriller, The Unbegotten, will appear in book form shortly.

Sarah will be discussing and signing copies of her current books, and perhaps giving some hints about her upcoming thriller when she visits the Joint.

Darn! 3rd Thursday has been postponed due to predicted heavy rain. HOWEVER, The Willimantic Book Joint will still be open til 8 PM and you can stop by an find a copy of Marc Scrivener's just released book, "The Sovereign Synthesis." I've only had a chance to glance through it, but so far it looks like a fascinating read. If we run out of copies tonight, we should be able to get more tomorrow,

Friday, August 14, 2026. Postings on this page have been less frequent as the folks at the Joint concentrate on the smooth operation of the Shop. After the celebration of our opening and the welcoming of so many community members, it has bee time to buckle down and work out various policies and procedures. But rest assured, the Book Joint is alive and well. Summer time, however, is pretty slow for all Main Street businesses, so please come on by, if only to say hello and check out the shop. Sunday afternoon, the Book Joint provided space for the Windham Green Party to meet and greet all comers. Turned out many of the comers were members of the Democratic Socialists of America. Some very interesting political conversations were held. All part of the Joint providing a much needed community space. Well behaved dogs welcome.
