Swift Waters is proud to feature jeweler Lisa Abate! She's worked in pastel, paint, collage and assemblage, all of which have influenced her jewelry. Each piece she creates begins with an element she creates or a found object. She then uses color, texture and shape to tell a story. The end result is a wearable piece of assemblage art! Hey, what's happening at Swift Waters? We were hard at work disassembling the back gallery of the shop for redecorating this week. We've put ourselves back together now with fresh paint and new carpet, and will be open today(Friday) and Sunday the 5th, but closed tomorrow the 4th. More pictures to follow of our transformation.
