Simple Things I make all my products myself. I take great pride in my work and therefore, if I don't like it, I won't sell it.

My husband, John, is a wonderful blessing at the craft shows, trade days and festivals that we participate in. He has really starting enjoying going to the different places, meeting new people and helping me out. Without his love and support, I could never do what I love doing.

Willis, Texas is on fire! I have yet ANOTHER cute *new* shop to share with you guys today! Willis Hometown Mercantile also opened last week and is located in sort of the old town area. This is more of a fun gift shop with some boutique clothes, home decor, antiques, and even pantry products from my personal favorite Twisted T Farm!

There's something for everyone in this store, and if you're just in the mood to SHOP (and shop local) then this is the place for you. Willis Hometown Mercantile is a collection of vendor booths from a large number of local business owners. It doesn't feel "boothy," though. It's all melded together nicely to create a beautiful store where you can spend a good amount of time perusing treasures.

One of the owners told me that another boutique will be opening soon a few doors down, and there is also an antique shop next door. Sounds like Willis is going to be yet another fun daytime shopping destination in Montgomery County 🙌.
