🎶 Tonight is the LAST NIGHT for Summer Nights on Main! Come down and enjoy the music, festivities, and food trucks one last time until next year. It looks like it will be a beautiful evening for it 🌞

Tripwire is headed our way! This multi-genre band brings the energy, playing through five decades of music on 10+ instruments. We can't think of a better way to wrap up an EPIC season of Summer Nights On Main! Join us tomorrow night (8/27) on Main Street for food trucks, cold b**r, live music and great company. 5-9p

As always---> we will be closing the venue area on Main Street at 1p on Thursday.

Not book or tea related but Happy National Dog Day!! Thought you all may enjoy meeting the two that keep things interesting at my house 🐾 Being a hound mom is not for the faint-hearted

💜 George Maybelle is a bluetick/treeing Walker coonhound mix and her middle name is used quite frequently! The look on her face in the first picture was when I told her it was time to get up and go outside one day.

💚 Chevy is an Irish Wolfhound and a 130 pound lap dog! He's actually very much on the small side for his breed but he keeps himself lean. It's nice to have one dog whose ears aren't constantly broken 🙉 like his sister's are. He's the best Boi!

👩‍🍳 Some cookbooks going out today! The church books are all from small towns in the area. They have some really interesting (that's what we're calling them 🤣) vintage recipes in them.

🍂 I know it's still August but the morning air feels like we are heading into fall! And what goes along with fall? The warm cozy aroma of a good cup of Chai! This morning I added 2 new Chai flavors, making that 8 in the lineup with varying caffeine content so you can enjoy it any time of day 🫖

🫛 Tomorrow is this month's Main Street Market featuring kids! 👩‍👧‍👦 Come down and support these hardworking young people and of course all the regular market vendors too!. Gardens should be producing well and the weather should be cooperative from the looks of it.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is a big day: it's our first Main Street Market + Kids for 2026! We will be hosting our season regulars, plus young entrepreneurs showing off their wares. We have some youth vendors registered now, but will take walk-ons as well. Vendor spaces for kids are $10 and must fit within the "homegrown, homemade or handmade" market guidelines. The set up time for vendors is 7:30a-8:45a. Youth vendors must be accompanied by an adult!

Not quite ready to sell this week? Future market dates are July 25, August 22, September 12 and October 3.

📚 I've been busy the past few days! Yesterday I got all the kids books shelved and just over 100 books processed for us big kids!

💥 I got the buried tote of graphic novels and Manga dug out finally. There is a complete set of Assassination Classroom manga in mostly like new condition, the first 4 Wings of Fire graphic novels, Minecraft handbooks and so many more! They will be in their age appropriate rooms.

📖 I'll be open until 9 tonight. Only 1 more Summer Nights on Main after tonight so come enjoy the festivities while you still can 🎶
